A multi-talented achiever since her student days, she was known for excelling in leadership activities, dance, music, painting, sports, karate, academics, and event anchoring. She also underwent National Cadet Corps (NCC) training and earned the distinction of being the first girl student from her institution to represent it at the Republic Day parade through the RDC camp.

After completing her schooling, she pursued Aeronautical Engineering, where she secured high academic distinction, before successfully clearing the SSB selection process and joining the armed forces.

As part of a civic celebration marking her achievement, Nishel will be taken in a procession on May 29 at 4 pm from Kongor Road to her residence, following the successful completion of her training.

The event is expected to draw participation from family members, well-wishers, and locals, celebrating her entry into the Indian Navy as a commissioned officer.
