Bahrain: Kannada Sangha hosts ‘Arogya Dina’ free medical camp at Kannada Bhavana

Bahrain, May 23: Kannada Sangha Bahrain, in association with Al Hilal Health Care Group, successfully organised “Arogya Dina” – Free medical camp on May 15 at Kannada Bhavana, Manama. Around 100 members actively participated and benefitted from the health camp.

The camp offered free medical consultation and health check-up facilities. The consultant doctors for the day were:

Dr Rajesh Kumar – Internal medicine specialist

Dr Arun Antony – Urologist

Dr Goutham A Shivananda – Paediatrician

Speaking on the occasion, president Ajith Bangera highlighted the importance of such health initiatives for the community and appreciated the support extended by Al Hilal Health Care Group.

Dr Arun Antony addressed the gathering and emphasised the importance of regular health check-ups and maintaining a healthy lifestyle to stay fit and prevent illnesses.

From Al Hilal Health Care Group, Bharath Jaya Kumar and Amal coordinated the medical camp successfully along with the Kannada Sangha Bahrain team.

During the closing ceremony, Kannada Sangha Bahrain presented a token of gratitude to Al Hilal Health Care Group in appreciation of their valuable support and service to the community.

Vice president Nithin Shetty and executive committee members actively volunteered throughout the event and ensured smooth arrangements for the camp. BIIECO supported the event as the Event Supporter.

General secretary Ramprasad Ammenadka welcomed the gathering and delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the doctors, Al Hilal Health Care Group, volunteers, sponsors, and all members who participated and contributed to the success of Arogya Dina 2026.
