Mangaluru, May 17: Forest, ecology and environment minister Eshwar Khandre stated that a cabinet reshuffle in the state is the absolute prerogative of the chief minister and the party high command.

Speaking to media persons after arriving in the city to inaugurate the Cashew Mela on Sunday, May 17, the minister said, "They may or may not go ahead with a reshuffle. We are completely bound by their decision."

Asserting that the government is stable, Khandre clarified that there is no confusion within the administration. "The government is completely secure. We have won all the elections because we delivered a pro-people and good administration. We will return to power in the future as well and continue to provide good governance," he added.

Responding to queries about his own role, Khandre described himself as a loyal worker of the Congress party. "I will efficiently discharge whatever responsibility the party entrusts to me. I am currently leading my department well. Besides, no post is vacant at the moment," he stated.
