Moodbidri: Five-year-old girl from Shirthady killed in Sharjah road accident

Moodbidri, May 4: A five-year-old girl originally from Shirthady, Moodbidri, was killed in a car accident near Ansar Mall on the Sharjah-Dubai border on Sunday night.

The deceased has been identified as Fatima Aniha, the daughter of Hakeem, a resident of Shirthady currently employed in Sharjah. The incident occurred while the family was preparing to enter their car after finishing a shopping trip. A speeding vehicle coming from behind crashed into them, resulting in the young girl's death on the spot.

In a tragic coincidence, Aniha was set to celebrate her fifth birthday on June 2, the same day her visa was scheduled to expire. She was the only daughter in the family and had three brothers. Family sources have stated that the funeral rites will be performed in Sharjah.
