Bengaluru, Apr 23: The results of the SSLC Examination 2026 for the academic year 2025-26 were announced on Thursday April 23, on the official website of the education department. Following this, education minister Madhu Bangarappa addressed a press conference at the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board office in Malleswaram, Bengaluru, and shared details of the results.
The minister stated that 94.1 percent of students have passed the SSLC examination this year, terming it a record performance. As many as seven students achieved a perfect score of 625 out of 625 in the SSLC examination.
In this year’s SSLC results, Dakshina Kannada district secured the first position with an impressive 98.40 percent pass rate, while Udupi district stood second with 98.18 percent. Kalaburagi district recorded the lowest performance with 85.06 percent.

Pritam Poojary of Mother Teresa English Medium School, Shankaranarayana, has scored a perfect 625 out of 625 marks. Students of Karkala Jnanasudha English Medium High School, Mahalaxmi Bhagav and Mahalaxmi Pai B have both scored 624 marks, emerging as top performers from the institution. Shadhvi P V of Alva's School Moodbidri has scored 622.
Out of 7,70,209 students who appeared for the examination, 7,24,794 students have passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 94.1. The SSLC examinations were conducted from March 18 to April 2 across a total of 2,870 examination centres.
The SSLC examination results are available on the website https://karresults.nic.in. Students can also access their results through DigiLocker from this year. The results will be sent to students via SMS on their mobile phones.
