Kasargod: Body of Manjeshwar boy swept away by waves found at Hosabettu Beach

Kasargod, Apr 16: The body of a young boy who was swept away by sea waves at Kundu Kolake seashore was found on Thursday evening at Hosabettu Beach.

The deceased has been identified as Muhammad Zainul Abid, son of Ummarul Farooq and Razeena, residents of Manjeshwar Chowki.

According to reports, the incident occurred on Wednesday evening when he had gone to the seashore with friends. He was caught in the strong waves and dragged into the sea.

Following the incident, local residents and rescue teams launched a search operation. The body was later recovered on Thursday evening from Hosabettu beach, located a short distance from where he had gone missing.

Manjeshwar police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
