Mangaluru, Apr 13: Srinivas University Institute of Physiotherapy organized a post-conference workshop on ‘Introduction to EMG-NCV: Foundations for Clinical Neurophysiology’ in association with Mangalore Physiocon 2026 on April 12 at Hotel Srinivas Saffron, Mangaluru.
The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Dr A Srinivas Rao, hon. chancellor, Srinivas University. Dr U T Ifthikar Fareed, chairman, Karnataka State Allied and Healthcare Council, graced the occasion as chief guest.







Dr Nehal Shah, vice chair, World Physiotherapy (Asia Western Pacific Region) and principal, SBB College of Physiotherapy, Ahmedabad, was the guest of honour and resource person. Dr Ajay Kumar, registrar (Development), Srinivas University, attended as special invitee.
The workshop saw participation from around 70 students, interns, academicians, and clinicians, focusing on the clinical relevance of EMG-NCV in physiotherapy practice.
The programme was welcomed by Dr Thrishala Noronha, dean, Institute of Physiotherapy, and concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr M Premkumar, professor and HOD.
