Kuwait, Apr 9: Jazeera Airways has announced a temporary suspension of its services to nine cities across India, citing operational constraints. The suspension will come into effect from April 10 and continue until May 15.
The airline confirmed that flights to and from Coimbatore, Goa, Kannur, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Madurai, Mangaluru, Tiruchirappalli, and Vijayawada will remain cancelled during this period.
In a statement, Barathan Pasupathi, Chief Executive Officer of Jazeera Airways, expressed regret over the disruption caused to passengers. He stated that such decisions are made only after careful consideration and are driven by circumstances beyond the airline’s control.

Passengers affected by the cancellations will be eligible for full refunds. Those who booked tickets via travel agents will receive refunds in the form of credit shells, while customers who made direct bookings through the airline’s website or mobile app can process refunds through the same channels.
Despite the temporary halt, the airline has maintained that its operations in India continue through other routes. It is currently serving eight Indian destinations from its base in Dammam, ensuring continued connectivity for travelers.
The airline reiterated its commitment to passengers and assured that services to the affected cities will resume once operational conditions stabilize.
