Mulki Sundar Ram Shetty Trust distributes Rs 50 lac aid to 300 families, institutions

Mangaluru, Mar 16: The Mulki Sundar Ram Shetty Memorial Charitable Trust organized an aid distribution programme on Saturday at the Mulki Sundar Ram Shetty Hall.

Speaking on the occasion, trust president Dr K Prakash Shetty said that even today lamps are being lit in many households in society because of Mulki Sundar Ram Shetty. He said that those who had received assistance here should go on to become guiding lights for society in the future.

Chief guest MP Capt Brijesh Chowta said that one should never forget those who had extended support and helped them rise in life. He expressed hope that those who had received financial assistance here would in turn extend a helping hand to many more people in the future. MLA A Umanath Kotian also spoke on the occasion.

Daijiworld media founder and managing director Walter Nandalike said that Prakash Shetty is living in the same spirit as Sundar Ram Shetty and described him as a person with a rare personality. He said that the students who had received assistance should achieve success in life and help many more people in society.

Kaup MLA Suresh Shetty Gurme, Hariprasad Shetty, son of Mulki Sundar Ram Shetty, and others were present.

Trustee Balakrishna Hegde delivered the introductory address and welcomed the gathering. Nitesh Shetty Ekkar and Nithin Salian compered the programme. Suresh Shetty Gurme proposed the vote of thanks.

On this occasion, the trust distributed a total financial assistance of Rs 50 lac to 300 families and educational institutions.
