Udupi: Administration externs three rowdy-sheeters from district

Udupi, March 14: In a move aimed at maintaining law and order, the district administration has issued externment orders against three individuals from Udupi district. The orders were issued on March 12 by the special executive magistrate and the superintendent of police of Udupi district.

Those externed include Sandesh and Sushanth from the jurisdiction of the Hiriyadka police station, and Jabbar Hussain from the Padubidri police station limits.

Among them, Jabbar Hussain, a resident of Nadsal village in Kapu taluk, has a rowdy sheet opened against him at the Padubidri police station. Police records indicate that a total of 16 cases have been registered against him across several districts, including Udupi, Chikkamagaluru, Uttara Kannada and Mangaluru city.

Similarly, Sandesh, a resident of Devi Nilaya on Puthige Main Road in Bommarabettu village of Udupi taluk, has five criminal cases registered against him. A rowdy sheet has also been opened in his name under the jurisdiction of the Hiriyadka police station.

Another individual, Sushanth, son of Sadananda Poojary and a resident of Seetha Nilaya in Hiriyadka of Udupi taluk, has three cases registered against him.

As per the externment order, Jabbar Hussain has been externed to the jurisdiction of Pension Mohalla police station in Hassan district, while Sandesh has been externed to the limits of Thirthahalli police station in Shivamogga district. Sushanth has been externed to the jurisdiction of Sringeri police station in Chikkamagaluru district.

The externment orders prohibit the individuals from entering Udupi district for the specified period as directed by the authorities.
