Mangaluru, Mar 11: Officials from the KSRTC Mangaluru depot have released a formal clarification to the public stating that the corporation has never delegated recruitment responsibilities to private parties or third-party intermediaries. The department emphasized that every appointment within the KSRTC is conducted strictly in accordance with established government norms and internal departmental procedures to ensure complete transparency.
This statement follows recent media reports concerning an FIR registered in Bengaluru involving two individuals who allegedly swindled job aspirants of more than Rs 12 lac. The accused reportedly targeted vulnerable candidates by promising lucrative placements within the corporation and specifically cited purported openings at the Mangaluru depot to gain the trust of their victims.

An official from the Mangaluru depot urged all job seekers to remain vigilant and exercise extreme caution to avoid falling into traps set by organized fraudsters. The department strongly advises anyone approached with a promise of employment in exchange for monetary payment to immediately cross-check the information directly with the corporation’s official channels.
KSRTC maintains that its hiring process is merit-based and warns that any claims of guaranteed placement through outside agents are entirely false. The corporation remains committed to protecting the interests of aspirants and urges the public to report any suspicious recruitment activity to the local authorities or the department’s administrative office.
