Udupi: 19-year-old youth preparing for Gulf job dies after bus-bike crash

Udupi, Mar 10: A 19-year-old youth who sustained serious injuries in a road accident involving a government bus and a motorcycle a week ago has succumbed to his injuries.

The deceased has been identified as Mohammed Zhad (19), a resident of Herga Shettibettu. The accident had occurred on Lakshminagar Road in Santekatte.

Following the collision, he was admitted to a private hospital in Udupi for treatment. However, despite medical efforts, he passed away on Tuesday, March 10.

Zhad had recently completed his PUC education and was reportedly preparing to travel to a Gulf country for employment in the near future.

He is survived by his parents and a brother.
