Mysuru, Feb 20: The Konkani Christian Association (R) Mysuru had organized a motivational talk for Rural Government School SSLC students of Mysuru Taluk on 17th February 2026 at their prominent Konkan Bhavan, Vijayanagar 2nd stage, Mysuru. The programme began at 10.30am with the prayer song sung by the students of Karnataka Public School, M.G. Koppal. Joyce Sequeira, the secretary of the Association welcomed the dignitaries on the dais. The event was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, Uday Kumar D, DDPI, Department of School Education, Mysuru District, Prakash M, block education officer, Mysuru Rural, Fr Santhosh John, parish priest, Holy Family Church, Hinkal and Dr Shambhulinga B Pavate, Yoga trainer and counsellor, Mysuru.
























Uday Kumar D. appreciated the social service of the association and congratulated the president and the committee members for organizing the motivational talk for the government school SSLC students of M G Koppal, Hinkal, Hootagalli and Yelwal coming under Mysuru Taluk. He advised students to make a timetable and learn accordingly without wasting the time as there are only 29 days for the exam. He enlightened them to ‘stand up, be strong and take responsibility on their shoulders to achieve success in life.’ The Association honoured the dignitaries as a kind gesture.
The BEO, Prakash M, showcased all the facilities given to the students by the Govt. He inspired them to study well and come out in flying colours. He urged them to pursue their dreams with right mindset, right attitude and right approach as one can achieve anything one desires despite obstacles. He also wished them to do their best in the forthcoming exams.
On the occasion, sri Yukteshananda Swamiji, the correspondent of Ramakrishna Vidyashala, Yadavagiri, applauded the association for their selfless service in the field of education. He inspired students to be happy, brave and strong, not to shy away from challenges and take full responsibility for the consequences. The Swamiji shared a significant story of Tensingh and Mt. Everest and other prominent personalities who achieved great feats in life. Dr Shambhulinga B Pavate, a naturopath, motivated the students by emphasizing the importance of maintaining a positive mindset during exams and guided them to take care of their health.
Stany Lobo, vice president of the Association proposed the vote of thanks. Meena Dias, vice president, compered the programme. The association provided lunch and light refreshments and also presented Examination writing pad and pen to 130 students. The office bearers and the managing committee members of the Association, the education co-ordinators, block resource persons, cluster heads and eight teachers of respective schools were present. The programme ended with the singing of the National Anthem.
