KSRTC announces major fare cut on premium bus services from Mangaluru division

Mangaluru, Jan 4: In a major relief to passengers, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has announced a reduction of 10 to 15 per cent in travel fares on several premium bus services operating from the Mangaluru division. The revised fares will come into effect from January 5.

The fare reduction applies to various KSRTC premium services operating between Kundapur, Udupi and Mangaluru to Bengaluru, aimed at improving passenger convenience and encouraging greater use of public transport.

Ambaari Utsav service fares (per passenger):
The revised fare between Kundapur and Bengaluru is Rs 1,510, between Udupi and Bengaluru Rs 1,460, and between Mangaluru and Bengaluru Rs 1,350.

Dream Class service fares:
The fare has been fixed at Rs 1,350 for Kundapur–Bengaluru, Rs 1,300 for Udupi–Bengaluru, and Rs 1,200 for Mangaluru–Bengaluru.

Multi Axle 2.0 service fares:
Passengers travelling between Kundapur and Bengaluru will pay Rs 1,310, between Udupi and Bengaluru Rs 1,250, and between Mangaluru and Bengaluru Rs 1,150.

Multi Axle service fares:
The revised fare stands at Rs 1,110 for Kundapur–Bengaluru, Rs 1,060 for Udupi–Bengaluru, and Rs 1,000 for Mangaluru–Bengaluru.

Non-AC Sleeper service fares:
The fare has been reduced to Rs 1,050 for Kundapur–Bengaluru, Rs 1,000 for Udupi–Bengaluru, and Rs 900 for Mangaluru–Bengaluru.

Pallakki Non-AC Sleeper service fares:
Passengers will now pay Rs 1,100 for Kundapur–Bengaluru, Rs 1,060 for Udupi–Bengaluru, and Rs 950 for Mangaluru–Bengaluru.

Rajahamsa service fares:
The revised fare is Rs 750 between Kundapur and Bengaluru, Rs 700 between Udupi and Bengaluru, and Rs 650 between Mangaluru and Bengaluru.

In a press release, the senior divisional controller of KSRTC, Mangaluru division, urged the public to make optimum use of the revised fare services for comfortable and affordable travel.

    First they should stop reserving 3 lower single births in Ambari and Utsav busses to MPs and MLAs. Do they travel in bus?? They are occupying premium seats and I don't know who travels in these seats.
