Mangaluru, Jan 3: Fr Andrew Leo D’Souza, parish priest of St Lawrence Shrine and Church, Bondel, had a miraculous escape after meeting with a car accident on January 1.

CCTV footage of the incident shows the car veering off the road and landing on its side in the courtyard of a house located below the roadside. Despite the severity of the crash, Fr D’Souza escaped without serious injuries.

Many onlookers who witnessed the accident immediately rushed to the spot. They helped set the car in the correct position and assisted Fr D’Souza in safely coming out of the vehicle.

Speaking after the incident, Fr D’Souza said that it was only due to God’s grace that he was saved from such a severe accident.

When good happens we say it was by God's Grace. If something tragic were to happen we say it was God's Will. However, replacing tyres in time, maintaining correct air pressure and staying within speed limits is in man's hands. Glad you are safe Father!

God Saved Fr. Praise God. Because Holy Communion (Eucharist) is Divine and Sacred, Sometimes God indirectly also warns clergy on the following referenced distribution of "- Communion in the Hand? "Because out of reverence towards this sacrament, nothing touches it, but what is consecrated; hence the corporal and the chalice are consecrated, and likewise the priest's hands, for touching this sacrament." - ST. THOMAS AQUINAS, Summa Theologica"... Ref: https://www.tldm.org/Directives/d03.htm

New year miracle. Fall would have been fatal, but it was god's rescuing hand guiding the car towards a safe landing. The rescue operation was incredibly professional. God bless the spontaneous rescue volunteers.

Didn't change tyre I guess, always keep in mind to check thread level and get replaced, recently even I too face similar issue, knowing thread wear out still drove Neglecting, next month to replace, but understood how important tyres are, police should also check tyres checklist, along with license, pollution etc, with new tyres good grip..

Our God is a living God. His promises are true. He acts what he promised to his people who obey him. Didn't he tell in bible none of your bones will be broken. Again its written angels will guide you so that your feet will not dash to stones. Our God is always there when we call he answers instantly.
