Two killed, one injured in tragic car crash on Nashik–Mumbai highway

Mumbai, Nov 24: Two young men lost their lives and another sustained serious injuries in a road accident on the Nashik–Mumbai highway early Sunday morning, police said. The crash occurred near Atgaon under the jurisdiction of the Shahapur police station.

According to officials, Mayuresh Vinod Chaudhary (29), Jayesh Kisan Shende (25) and Harshal Pandurang Jadhav (29) were returning from a haldi ceremony when the driver lost control of their car. The vehicle rammed into a bridge railing with such force that the left side of the car was torn apart. Chaudhary and Shende died instantly, while Jadhav is undergoing treatment for severe injuries.

Family members revealed that Chaudhary was set to be married on December 2. Police have registered a case of accidental death at the Shahapur police station and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
