Kattipalla Muslim Youth Association, Dammam hosts felicitation ceremony in Jubail

Jubail, Nov 16: The Kattipalla Muslim Youth Association (KMYA), Dammam, organized a grand felicitation ceremony on November 15 at Puli Restaurant, Jubail. The event was held under the presidency of Musthafa Araga.

The programme commenced with a soulful recitation of Khira’ath by Ismail Kattipalla.

Distinguished honourees

During the event, Haji Zakariyya Jokatte Muzain, recipient of the Karnataka Rajyotsava Award 2025, along with Prof U T Iftikhar Fareed and Janab Inayath Ali, were felicitated with great respect by KMYA.

In their acceptance remarks, the honourees stressed the importance of promoting higher education among women in the community and highlighted the need to create more opportunities and support systems across diverse educational fields.

Special guests and institutional report

The ceremony was graced by P M Mansoor, founder member and former president of KMYA, and P S Abdul Aziz, president of KMYA Riyadh.

Notable attendees Nazeer Al Bathin and Shafeeq Table Four were also present.

A brief presentation on the 37-year journey of KMYA, its growth, and its community-focused initiatives was delivered by general secretary Ismail Kattipalla.

Large community participation

Members from Dammam, Jubail, and Riyadh attended the program in significant numbers. Former presidents, well-wishers, families, and supporters added meaning and warmth to the ceremony through their enthusiastic presence.

Programme conduct

The welcome address, vote of thanks, and event compering were gracefully handled by family meet chairman Saifullah Muhyuddeen.
