Mangaluru, Sept 22: The Father Muller College of Speech and Hearing, in observance of "International Hearing Impaired Week", inaugurated its free Speech and Hearing Camp on September 22 at 9 am in the hospital reception waiting area.
The inaugural was presided over by Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo, director, FMCI, who in his address highlighted the importance of communication and reflections across the stages of life, from birth to old age.
The chief guest, Prof Dr Vinay V Rao, Head of ENT, emphasised the benefits of the camp for the public, encouraging individuals to make use of the opportunity. A short skit by the students added vibrancy to the programme, spreading awareness in a creative manner.














Dr Cynthia Santhumayor, principal, Father Muller College of Speech and Hearing, invited the public to actively participate in the camp and avail themselves of the specialised services on offer.
The free Speech and Hearing Camp runs from September 22 to 27, 2025, featuring free registration, audiological evaluation, 40% discount on hearing aids, vestibular and language evaluations, as well as assessments for voice, fluency, articulation, and swallowing. Sessions are held from 9 am to 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm to 4 pm.
Participants will also receive a complimentary Father Muller Health Card, offering exclusive benefits on consultations, diagnostics, medicines, and lab services.
