Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru
Mangaluru, Sep 21: Daijiworld 24x7, the city’s leading infotainment channel, is all set to launch its flagship programme ‘The Common Man Show’, a unique series that captures the lives, struggles, humour, and wisdom of everyday people.
The show premieres on Sunday, September 21, at 9:00 pm IST on Daijiworld TV, with simultaneous release on the Daijiworld TV YouTube channel, which boasts over 675,000 subscribers. Each episode, lasting about 45 minutes, will also have two repeat telecasts during the week. Snippets, highlights, and reels will be widely circulated across Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms to maximize reach.

Proudly presented by Dakshin Tea, promoted by Bharath Beverages, Mangaluru, the show will run for 40 episodes in its first season.
Unlike conventional talk shows that highlight film stars or business leaders, The Common Man Show focuses on unsung heroes — hand-cart pullers, auto drivers, bus conductors, postmen, fisherwomen, and many more whose inspiring stories often remain unheard.
The programme will be hosted by Walter Nandalike, founder of Daijiworld Media, known for creating hit shows such as Corona Gellona (150 episodes), Private Challenge (200 episodes), and Kiri Kiri Jodilu (75 episodes). Adding flavour to the show, popular Tulu comedy artistes Sundara Bangadi and C K Prashanth will present specially curated comedy acts in every episode.
A unique highlight of the format is its live studio audience, largely comprising college students, making the show interactive, vibrant, and highly relatable.
Speaking about the concept, Walter Nandalike said, “The idea is to bring forward the real heroes of our society. Each of them carries an inspiring story, and we want to celebrate their dignity and resilience while offering wholesome entertainment to our viewers.”
With its mix of real-life storytelling, humour, and inspiration, The Common Man Show promises to connect with audiences across age groups and backgrounds.
