Karkala police arrest man installing gaming apps for others

Karkala, Sep 20: The Karkala rural police have arrested a man who was misleading people through online gaming.

The arrested individual has been identified as Nazir (44) from Ganjimath, Mangaluru.

In Belman village, under the jurisdiction of Karkala rural police station, Nazir was reportedly engaging in online gaming and installing apps for others. Upon receiving credible information, PSI of the rural police station apprehended him.

A search of Nazir’s mobile phone revealed that he was involved in online betting using website links and apps. A case has been registered against him, and Rs 30,000 found in his possession has been seized.
