Mangaluru: Navaratri saree photo contest from Sept 22-30 announced by VK Furniture & Electronics

Mangaluru, Sep 16: VK Furniture & Electronics, Thokottu, has announced a Navaratri saree photo contest 2025, inviting participants to celebrate the festive spirit in traditional sarees and win attractive prizes.

The contest will be held from September 22 to September 30, across all nine days of Navaratri. Each day is dedicated to a specific colour saree:

  • Day 1 (Sep 22, Monday) – Yellow

  • Day 2 (Sep 23, Tuesday) – Green

  • Day 3 (Sep 24, Wednesday) – Grey

  • Day 4 (Sep 25, Thursday) – Blue

  • Day 5 (Sep 26, Friday) – White

  • Day 6 (Sep 27, Saturday) – Red

  • Day 7 (Sep 28, Sunday) – Peacock Green

  • Day 8 (Sep 29, Monday) – Orange

  • Day 9 (Sep 30, Tuesday) – Pink

Participants must form groups of at least three or more, with all members wearing sarees of the day’s designated colour. Daily prizes will be awarded to the best group photo, and the top two groups overall will receive gold and silver coins along with sarees.

The organisers have clarified that old or previous year photos and selfies will not be accepted. Only photos taken during Navaratri 2025 are eligible. To ensure authenticity, participants must activate the standard camera date and time or use a GPS camera timer app.

Photos, along with contact details and address, must be sent before 10 pm each day to 87488 00666 or 70266 37705. Results will be announced on Facebook and Instagram, and prizes will be distributed at VK Furniture & Electronics, Thokottu, Mangaluru.
