Experts recommend hold on Bajaj Finserv, buy Power grid, exit Vedanta and Bajaj housing finance

Daijiworld Media Network- Mumbai

Mumbai, Sep 4: Stock market experts G Chokkalingam of Equinomics Research and strategist Sarvendra Srivastava shared key investment calls covering Bajaj Finserv, Hinduja Global, Vedanta, Power Grid, Piramal Pharma, Bajaj Housing Finance and GMR Power.

Chokkalingam advised investors to hold Bajaj Finserv beyond two to three years, saying the company remains a consistent long-term performer. Hinduja Global, he noted, is fundamentally strong though currently facing challenges, and should be held for the medium to long term. On Vedanta, he recommended selling, citing pressure in the oil segment and expectations of further decline.

On Power Grid, Chokkalingam gave a buy call, pointing to attractive valuations after a price correction and highlighting its historical record as a growth stock. Srivastava recommended holding Piramal Pharma until a decisive monthly close is seen.

Chokkalingam advised investors to exit Bajaj Housing Finance, warning of stress in the NBFC sector due to competition from banks. On GMR Power, he suggested holding the stock with scope for fresh buying on marginal declines, projecting a potential return of 15–20% within a year under normal market conditions.
