Remo D’Souza honours young dancer Aadhyashree with anklets on 'Super Dancer 5'

Mumbai, Aug 13: In a heartwarming moment on Super Dancer Chapter 5, renowned choreographer and filmmaker Remo D’Souza expressed his deep admiration for young contestant Aadhyashree after a remarkable performance during a challenging round.

As part of a segment called ‘Flip the Side’, Remo gave live directional cues during the dance — prompting the contestants to switch directions in real time. Despite the complexity, Aadhyashree and her co-performer Barkat executed the routine with flawless precision.

Deeply moved by Aadhyashree’s presence of mind and exceptional stage control, Remo walked up to her on stage, kissed her feet as a mark of respect, and gifted her a pair of anklets — a symbolic gesture that left the audience and judges emotional.

“For children this young to deliver such performances is extraordinary,” said Remo. “Even as I kept changing directions — right, left, center — she kept up without missing a beat. That kind of focus is rare.”

Super Dancer Chapter 5 airs every Saturday and Sunday at 8 PM on Sony Entertainment Television and SonyLIV.

Remo is also a judge on another popular dance reality show, Hip Hop Season 2, alongside Malaika Arora. Speaking about the new season, he highlighted the influx of unique talent and creativity.

“This season brings in fresh energy — new dancers, new styles, and even Malaika Ma’am as a new judge. We look for more than just moves — it’s about stage presence, growth, and how well contestants adapt every week,” he said.
