Mangaluru: St Aloysius English Medium School hosts inter-house event ‘Aloyspark’

Mangaluru, Aug 9: St Aloysius English Medium School, Urwa, hosted its much-awaited inter-house event ‘Aloyspark’ on August 9, initiated under the guidance of headmaster, Aloysius D’Souza. The competition aimed to provide a vibrant platform for students to showcase their talents, skills, and spirit of healthy competition.

The inaugural programme was anchored by teacher Rina D’Souza, with the event being coordinated by in-charge teachers Tr Poornima, Tr Laveena Lobo, and Tr Rina D’Souza. The ceremony began with a melodious prayer song by the students of class IV, setting a soulful tone for the day. This was followed by the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries – chief guest Fr Micheal Lobo, headmaster Aloysius D’Souza, PTA vice president Pushpanjali, senior teacher Laveena D’Cunha, and Laveena Pinto, accompanied by the student leader.

Headmaster Aloysius D’Souza warmly welcomed the gathering with his inspiring words, encouraging students to give their best in every endeavor. Addressing the audience, Fr Micheal Lobo shared a motivating message, reminding everyone that “Winning is good, but participating is even better. It is about raising hands and saying, ‘I can do.’ Aloyspark is a celebration of talent, teamwork, and joy.” He then officially declared the competition open.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Tr Poornima, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to making the event a success.

Aloyspark 2025 truly embodied the spirit of togetherness, creativity, and enthusiasm, leaving every participant with cherished memories and valuable experiences.
