Sanguem, Aug 4: With barely 12 km separating them, four Ganeshotsav Mandals in South Goa — Sanguem, Quepem, Curchorem and Sanvordem — are making headlines this festive season by offering a jaw-dropping range of prizes through their annual donation coupon draws. From luxury flats and high-end SUVs to electric vehicles and two-wheelers, these Mandals have sparked a frenzy among devotees and prize enthusiasts alike.
Sanguem
The Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal in Sanguem is offering two flats and 18 cars among its top prizes, with cash awards ranging from Rs 4 lac to an eye-popping Rs 35 lac. President Adv Tushar Karmalkar said the Mandal has focused on asset-rich and eco-friendly options, with several electric vehicles in the lineup. A total of 1.5 lac coupons, priced at Rs 500 each, will go on sale from August 10.

Top prizes include a 2BHK flat in Fatorda plus Rs 35 lac, a 2BHK in Curchorem plus Rs 29.5 lac, and EVs from Mahindra, Tata, MG and Maruti.
Quepem
The Quepem Mandal has launched 1.2 lac donation coupons, also priced at Rs 500, with the star prize being a BMW 5 Series plus Rs 35 lac. Other luxury prizes include an Audi Q3, Toyota Innova Hycross, Mahindra BE 6, and several mid-range SUVs, all paired with cash prizes of up to Rs 24 lac. President Nilesh Prabhudessai credited the surge in coupon sales to strong public trust, which has grown significantly in recent years.
Sanvordem
With all 90,000 donation coupons (priced at Rs 300) already sold out, the Sanvordem Mandal is offering a top prize of an Audi Q3 plus Rs 24.6 lac. Ten cars and ten two-wheelers are part of the prize pool, with the draw scheduled for September 6. Other prizes include Mahindra Thar, Hyundai Creta, Tata Curvv, and scooters like TVS Jupiter and Hero Destini.
Curchorem
Curchorem-Cacora Mandal, offering 40,000 coupons at Rs 250 each, has five cars and seven two-wheelers up for grabs. The top prize is a Maruti Brezza SUV, followed by Maruti Swift, Baleno, Ignis, and Wagon R Two-wheeler prizes include Hero Xpulse, Xtreme, and Pleasure scooters. The draw will be held on September 5.
Across all four Mandals, the common thread is public faith and transparent prize draws that continue to attract lakhs of devotees each year, transforming these Ganeshotsav celebrations into much-anticipated community events.
