Udupi: School van driver dies of heart attack while en route to school

Udupi, Aug 1: A school van driver ferrying students to school passed away after suffering a heart attack on Friday August 1 in Udupi.

The deceased has been identified as Moydheen Bava (65), a resident of Neere Bailoor, Karkala.

While transporting the students, the driver began experiencing chest pain. Upon noticing social worker Nityananda Volakadu walking along Maruthi Veethika, he stopped the vehicle and informed him about his condition. Nityananda Volakadu immediately arranged for an ambulance and rushed the driver to Ajjarkad district hospital.

Unfortunately, doctors at the hospital declared the driver dead on arrival.

Fortunately, since the driver stopped the vehicle upon sensing discomfort and sought help, a major accident was averted.

    Very sad to hear this.Although social worker helped him to go to hospital sad couldnt save him.May be was too late?One should better make a check up of his health from time to time.So that major problems can be avoided.Firms or any employer make it a point to send their employee once a year to regular check up.May be that can reduce certain sickness to reduce or fall all of a sudden sickness.May his soul rest in peace.Heartfelt sympathies to family.

    Humanity still exists. Driver's presence of mind is appreciable. Also look how our society works. No one looks at religion, cast or creed in case of emergency. Sad that driver Bava's life could not be saved. May his family find strength and courage to live on
