Mangaluru: All eyes on Remona as she dances towards a 170-hour world record

Mangaluru, Jul 25: All eyes are on Remona Evette Pereira as she attempts to break a world record with a 170-hour dance performance.

District in-charge minister Dinesh Gundu Rao, MLC Ivan D’Souza, MLA Vedavyas Kamath, deputy commissioner Darshan K V, and zilla panchayat CEO Narwade Vinayak Karbhari were among those who witnessed Remona’s remarkable feat.

Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao also met Remona’s mother, Gladis Celine, along with Dr Praveen Martis, vice-chancellor of St Aloysius (Deemed to be University).

Remona began her record-breaking performance on July 21 and is set to conclude on July 28.

As part of the challenge, she will dance for three hours at a stretch, followed by a 15-minute break for light food and rest.
