Mumbai, Jul 25: The much-anticipated trailer of War 2 has finally dropped—and it’s nothing short of a cinematic storm. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, this power-packed visual spectacle stars Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani in a high-voltage battle that blends patriotism, personal conflict, and pulse-racing action across stunning international backdrops.
Unlike the previous instalments from the YRF Spy Universe, the trailer of War 2 opens on a deeply philosophical note. Two warriors, Kabir (Hrithik Roshan) and an unnamed operative (played by Jr NTR), define war in their own hauntingly different ways—both, however, carry the same torch: "India First."
Hrithik’s Kabir is seen shedding his past—his name, love, identity—to become an invisible weapon. “Death before dishonour,” he declares with steel resolve.
On the other side stands Jr NTR’s character, ferocious and determined, promising to wage a war that history has never witnessed before. “Service before self,” he declares, setting the tone for an intense ideological and physical clash.
Amidst this face-off enters Kiara Advani, showcasing agile action sequences, and moments of tenderness in her romantic arc with Kabir. Her role promises to be more than just eye candy—she’s clearly holding her ground in the chaos.
Veteran actor Ashutosh Rana, reprising his role as Colonel Sunil Luthra, adds weight to the storyline, hinting at a possible sacrifice that could redefine the war’s outcome.
The trailer ends on a profound note, echoing a verse from the Bhagavad Gita, pushing viewers to ponder over duty, karma, and consequence.
Earlier, the teaser had amped up excitement. Jr NTR had posted, “Double the fire. Double the fury. Pick your side. #War2Teaser out NOW. #War2 only in theatres from 14th August. Releasing in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.”
Produced by Yash Raj Films, War 2 releases in theatres on August 14, 2025, promising a pan-India action storm that blends emotion, drama, and high-octane thrills.
Fans of the YRF Spy Universe, brace yourselves—the war is far from over.
