Mangaluru: Two youths arrested for abducting, sexually harassing minor girl

Mangaluru, Jul 21: Mulki police arrested two youths for allegedly luring, abducting, and sexually harassing a minor girl whom they had befriended through Instagram.

The accused have been identified as Deepak (19), a bus conductor from Badagubettu, Udupi, and his friend Naveen Shetty (21), a resident of Bhatripalke, Parkala, Atradi.

According to the police, the accused abducted the girl on July 19 from near Bappanadu using a scooter and took her to Udupi, where they sexually harassed her.

A case was registered against them at the Mulki police station.

    Its high time the females, girl child, girls have to be alert, educated. Mothers protect your children. Educate them on the current scenario. World is not for the children or women. Every where there are monsters. I want the police to give them good treatment.
