Mangaluru, July 6: Mangaluru City Crime Branch (CCB) police have arrested two prime accused from Mumbai in connection with a large-scale visa fraud case that duped hundreds of job aspirants by falsely promising overseas employment opportunities.
According to police, the accused had opened an office named Hireglow Elegant Overseas International (Opc) Private Limited at Bendorewell, Mangaluru, and published advertisements in newspapers claiming to provide work visas for jobs abroad. Trusting these claims, nearly 289 individuals paid large sums of money, totalling approximately Rs 4.5 crore, but were never issued any visas.

A case had earlier been registered at Mangaluru East Police Station under Crime No. 75/2025, invoking sections 316(2), 318(4) read with 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
In a previous operation, the CCB had arrested one of the accused, Masihulla Khan, a resident of Mumbai, who is currently under judicial custody.
Following continued investigation, police have now arrested the two main accused, Dilshad Abdul Sattar Khan (45), son of Abdul Sattar, flat no. 103, 1st Floor, 'C' Wing, Ramachandra Nivas, Koparkhairane, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra and Sahukari Kishore Kumar @ Anil Patil (34), son of Chandrasen, flat no 504, 5th Floor, 'J' Wing, Espila Apartment, Palava City, Dombivli, Thane, Maharashtra.
The duo was produced before the court and has been remanded to police custody for further investigation.
CCB officers and personnel played a crucial role in tracing and apprehending the accused as part of this operation. The investigation is ongoing.
