Mangaluru, Jul 4: The body of a 25-year-old youth who had gone missing on the night of July 2 has been found on the railway tracks near Uchila railway gate. Preliminary investigations suggest it to be a case of suicide.
The deceased has been identified as Tejas (25), son of Mohadas Amin, a resident of Beeri in Kotekar. According to reports, Tejas had gone missing from his bedroom on the night of July 2.
His father had filed a missing person complaint at the Ullal police station following his disappearance. However, on Friday morning, his body was discovered on the railway track near Uchila.

The railway police have registered a case and are investigating the matter as a suspected suicide.
Tejas was reportedly a student at an educational institution under the Manipal group. The exact reason behind his death is yet to be ascertained.
