Mangaluru, July 3: In a targeted operation, the Mangaluru City Crime Branch (CCB) police raided a vehicle and arrested a notorious cattle thief who was allegedly selling MDMA, a banned synthetic drug, near Kambala Padavu, KIADB Road in Mudipu.

The accused, Abdul Kabir alias Parivala Kabir (36), was caught red-handed with 12.05 grams of MDMA, a digital weighing scale, mobile phone, and a white Swift car. The total seizure is estimated at Rs 4.31 lac. The drugs were reportedly being sold to the public and students in the area.
