Mangaluru, July 2: A cat frequently seen roaming around Fiza by Nexus Mall in Mangaluru has finally found a permanent home, thanks to the thoughtful gesture of the mall authorities.

The feline, a familiar presence at the mall for several years, often caught the attention of visitors who stopped to pet or feed her. Over time, she became an unofficial part of the mall’s atmosphere, endearing herself to shoppers.

Recently, concerns about the cat’s wellbeing and lack of shelter surfaced on social media, drawing widespread attention. In response, the mall authorities stepped in to provide her with a dedicated space. Fondly named ‘Minchu’, the cat now resides in a specially built shelter inside the premises, aptly called Minchu House.

Minchu has since become a local celebrity. Many shoppers now make it a point to visit her, adding a touch of warmth and charm to the shopping experience at the mall.
