‘Gendada Barsag’ song from Tulu film Dharma Chavadi to release on July 1

Mangaluru, June 30: The much-awaited song Gendada Barsag from the upcoming Tulu film Dharma Chavadi, directed by Nithin Rai Kukkuvalli and sung by Yaksha Dhruva Patla Satish Shetty, is set to be released on July 1 at 6 pm on the MRT YouTube channel. Tulu audiences across the coastal region are eagerly anticipating the launch.

This song, penned by K K Pejavar and composed by Prasad K Shetty, follows the phenomenal success of the song Sampulla Jagade from last year’s film Dharma Daiva. That song, also sung by Patla Satish Shetty with lyrics by K K Pejavar and music by Nishan Rai, had gone viral and earned accolades at the Coastal Film Awards for Best Singer, Music, and Lyrics.

The first released track from Dharma Chavadi, titled Malayali Mann Da Tuluvedi, has already captured hearts and is currently trending. The song, which highlights the natural beauty of Kerala and Tulunadu, has become especially popular on Instagram.

Dharma Chavadi is scheduled for release on July 11. Produced by Nadubailu Jagadeesh Amin, the film features a stellar cast including Ramesh Rai Kukkuvalli, Ravi Snehith, Deepak Rai Panaje, Chetan Rai Mani, Suresh Rai, Sunder Rai Mandar, Baba Prasad Arasa, Dayanand Rai Bettampady, Rakshan Maduru, Prakash Shetty Dharma Nagar, Dhanya Poojary, Savitha Anchan, Roopa D Shetty, Neha Kotyan, Manish Shetty, Dhanaraj Bhandari, and several other senior and emerging artistes.
