Byndoor, Jun 27: A copper kalasha, typically mounted on temple domes, was found washed ashore at the Someshwara beach in Paduvari village, Byndoor. The kalasha weighs approximately 3 kg and is believed to be part of a temple structure.
The object, identified as a temple spire kalasha, was discovered along the shoreline. Vasant Rama Achar, inspector of Gangolli coastal security police station, along with sub-inspector Subrahmanya H and other officials, visited the spot and took possession of the copper kalasha.

Authorities have appealed to the rightful owner to contact the Gangolli coastal security police station for further assistance.
