Mangaluru, Jun 26: Lokayukta officials conducted yet another raid at the Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) office on Wednesday, continuing their investigation into alleged irregularities.
The latest operation focused on the office of joint commissioner Ravi Kumar M, where officials scrutinised documents from afternoon until late evening. The raid comes in the wake of complaints against him alleging misuse of power and financial misconduct. Ravi Kumar is set to retire on June 30.

Earlier, on June 21 and 23, Lokayukta teams had inspected various departments of the MCC, including revenue, health, engineering, accounts, urban planning, and the commissioner’s office. During those inspections, several irregularities were reportedly uncovered, and a sum of Rs 5 lac was found in possession of a broker.
The latest raid appears to be a continuation of the ongoing probe into administrative lapses within the civic body.
