Puttur, Jun 26: Traffic was severely affected on National Highway 75 near Mannagundi, close to Nelyadi, following a landslide that led to road blockage. A long queue of vehicles was seen halted due to the disruption.

In addition to the highway, the Ichlampady–Mandka road was also blocked, while floodwater from the Gundya stream overflowed onto the road, compounding the issue.

Meanwhile, a major landslide at Marenahalli in Sakleshpur taluk has resulted in the complete suspension of vehicular movement through Shiradi Ghat. In response, Hassan district deputy commissioner Latha Kumari has issued orders redirecting vehicles travelling from Bengaluru to Mangaluru via Hassan–Belur–Charmadi Ghat route.

Vehicles heading from Mangaluru are also advised to take the Sampaje and Charmadi Ghat routes.
