Bantwal: Car rams into pedestrian, crashes into embankment after driver loses control

Bantwal, June 22: A car lost control and hit a pedestrian before crashing into a roadside embankment near Adyanadka on Sunday, June 22.

Both the pedestrian and the car driver sustained injuries in the incident.

They were shifted to Vittal Community Health Centre with the help of local residents and Kapu gram panchayat president Raghava Maniyani, sources said.

    Horrible Thank God the pedestrian is still alive.Wish him fast recovery.When one observes ,most of accidents and deaths are happening in Bantwal than in mangalore .Hotspot of problems .Simply not keeping up to rules.

    several times in this forum i have written that even walking on Indian roads is dangerous and this incident simply proves the same..Nearly 90 percent of the roads do not have footpaths...
