Krisben Music announces series of Konkani animated music videos for children

Media Release

Mangaluru, June 12: Krisben Music, a prominent contributor to the Konkani music for over five years, continues to captivate audiences through a consistent stream of innovative music videos and thematic productions. Known for its commitment to cultural preservation and creative expression, it has now set its sights on nurturing the younger generation's connection to Konkani language and music.

In a recent announcement, Krisben Music revealed its newest initiative: a dedicated series of children’s Konkani songs, presented through engaging animated music videos. This thoughtful project aims to encourage children to sing in Konkani, fostering both linguistic pride and cultural continuity from an early age.

The first installment of this series, titled “Giant Wheela” has already premiered on the official Krisben Music YouTube channel. Sung by young Josvita Nazareth from Bahrain. Lyrics penned by Lavi Gunjimutta, tune composed by Christopher Roshan Lobo, proprietor of Krisben Music, music arranged by Roshan D'Souza Angelore, vibrant animations crafted by Karthik Goldstone. The video and its accompanying song have received positive responses from viewers, applauded for their creativity, quality, and appeal to young audiences.

Encouraged by this reception, Krisben Music has announced plans to release additional songs of the series in near future. These upcoming releases promise to offer more opportunities for children to sing, enjoy, and learn Konkani in an engaging and age-appropriate format.

While past efforts by various composers have aimed to promote Konkani songs among children, contemporary audiences—especially the younger generation—have had limited exposure to music crafted specifically for them. Krisben Music recognizes this gap and has taken a significant step toward filling it by embracing animation, a format proven to captivate young minds.

Through this initiative, Krisben Music reaffirms its dedication to cultural preservation, artistic innovation, and community engagement. Parents, educators, and music enthusiasts are encouraged to explore and share these vibrant creations, helping instill love for Konkani language and music in the hearts of tomorrow’s generation.

Visit the Krisben Music YouTube channel to watch “Giant Wheela” and stay tuned for more delightful releases.
