Navi Mumbai, May 17: In a shocking incident, a 19-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly kidnapping and molesting a four-year-old girl at a housing complex in Vashi.

The incident occurred on Thursday evening when the young girl was playing near her home. The accused reportedly took her away, leading to a swift response from alert residents who apprehended him and handed him over to the police.

Authorities have registered a case under section 137(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, with further investigations ongoing.
