Mangaluru: Decomposed body found behind shop near Kulshekar church

Mangaluru, May 6: A decomposed body was found behind a shop near Kulshekar church here, causing concern among local residents.

The deceased has been identified as Surendra (46), a resident of Shaktinagar. Reports indicate that Surendra was suffering from epilepsy and was known to collect scrap in the area.

His body was discovered in a decomposed state near a toilet behind the shop.

Kadri police visited the scene, and assistant commissioner of police Pratap Simha Thorat also conducted an inspection.

An investigation is underway.
