Bantwal, May 1: A serious road accident between a car and a two-wheeler left the pillion rider severely injured near Adala, on the Kuddupadu–Peruvai Road, on Thursday, May 1.
The incident occurred when a two-wheeler coming from the Peruvai side collided with a car arriving from Kuddupadu. The impact caused significant damage to the right side of the two-wheeler and left the front portion of the car badly damaged.
Thanks to the deployment of both airbags in the car, the occupants escaped without injuries. However, the pillion rider on the two-wheeler sustained serious injuries to the leg and was rushed for medical treatment.
Police personnel visited the accident site, conducted a spot inspection, and have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
