Kundapur, Dec 13: Former Byndoor MLA K Gopal Poojary has expressed gratitude to the voters of Gangolli gram panchayat for ending the BJP-backed leadership’s three-decade-long rule and electing candidates aligned with the Congress party.
Poojary stated that Gangolli, a prominent port town in the state, has witnessed years of neglect in addressing local issues and a lack of development work to meet public expectations. In this context, the enlightened voters of Gangolli placed their trust in the Congress party and delivered a historic decision by casting a majority of votes in favor of Congress-backed candidates.
In a press release, he thanked the Congress party workers, observers, and leaders who worked tirelessly day and night to support the candidates in the Gangolli gram panchayat elections.
