Mangaluru, Jun 15: BJP leader and MLC C T Ravi criticized UT Khader and police commissioner Anupam Agarwal for their handling of an incident in Boliyar. Addressing the media, Ravi expressed his dismay over the situation, which involved clashes after some individuals celebrated Narendra Modi's victory with slogans like ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’.

CRavi visited the hospital to meet Harish and Nandan, who were injured in the incident. He claimed the violence began because minority community members objected to the celebration. Ravi accused UT Khader's constituency of harbouring anti-national elements and urged authorities to identify and address these issues.

Ravi criticized police commissioner Agarwal, questioning his actions and suggesting a pro-Pakistani bias, which he found concerning given Agarwal's role as an IPS officer. Ravi emphasized the need to complete investigations and support the victims, Harish Anchan and Nandan Kumar.

He also condemned the Congress government for its alleged failure to curb criminal and communal activities and criticized their handling of various incidents, including the withdrawal of cases against certain groups. Ravi called for more decisive action against those he perceives as threats to national unity and criticized what he described as the Congress party's appeasement politics.

When questioned about the police commissioner's actions and the BJP's stance, Ravi reiterated the importance of transparency and accountability. He emphasized that expressing patriotism through slogans should not provoke such severe reactions and called for the removal of those who create communal tension.

Ravi also addressed questions about RSS leaders' statements, clarifying that the BJP values the RSS's guidance and remains focused on development and growth. He highlighted the BJP's success in the recent elections, contrasting it with what he termed the Congress's declining influence.

District BJP president Sathish Kumpala, MP Capt Brijesh chowta, MLAs Vedavyas Kamath and Dr Bharath Shetty, MLC Prathapsimha Nayak, Nithin Kumar, Kishore, Vasanth, Nandan Mallya, Jagadeesh Shenoy and others were present.

Why all thotte samooha in BJP. CT/Bigil Ravi you BJP people tell a lie thousands of times to make the lie as true as possible. You may fool the public sometimes but not always. The celebrations went past the Mosque locality without any issue even though the troublemakers made unwanted provocative slogans. Nothing untoward incident happened. After celebrations when the 3 troublemakers returned back by the same Mosque area, they shouted slogans again which provoked the other party to chase them and attack. Don't know why BJP members have too much of free time to protest and give media briefing. Wasting of public money. Police has to be deployed unnecessarily for the security and law and order.
