Directorial debut of Roshan Fernandes 'Ella'to release on MX Player on May 17

Mangaluru, May 17: A captivating cinematic journey awaits as Mumbai-based debutant filmmaker Roshan Fernandes’ much-anticipated film ‘Ella’ gears up to enchant audiences with its intriguing storyline and mesmerizing visuals. Shot predominantly in the scenic locales of Mulki, Udupi, and Mangaluru, ‘Ella’ promises to take viewers on a mystical adventure like never before.

Starring acclaimed actors Makarand Deshpande, Isha Talwar, Saranya Sharma, and others, ‘Ella’ boasts a stellar cast that brings the fable to life with their remarkable performances. Directed by the talented Roshan Fernandes, known for his unique storytelling style, the film is a production of Parashuland Films, adding another gem to its repertoire.

The film, which derives its title from the fairy tale Cinderella, follows 8-year-old Ella (Saranya Sharma) from Goa, who finds an Indian star tortoise and then ends up in Mangaluru, while trying to keep her pet safe. Ella will be released on MX Player on May 17. Basil Alchalakkal, who directed the Raj B Shetty-led Toby, has served as associate director on the film.

With music composed by the renowned Ajaneesh Loknath, ‘Ella’ promises to captivate audiences not only with its enchanting visuals but also with its soul-stirring soundtrack. The film explores themes of mystery and wonder, weaving together a narrative that will resonate with both young and old alike.
