Udupi, Apr 27: "The reconsecration of Sri Nagadeva at Sri Veerabhadra Saparivara Temple in Havanje Irmabidu Abbaga Daraga, along with Brahmakalashabhishek and Brahmakumbhabhishekam to Sri Veerbhadra Swami, Annasantharpana, and Kalkuda Kolav of the center, will be held from April 29th to May 2nd," announced Nagaraj Hegde, president of the renovation committee.
Addressing a press conference held on Saturday at Havanje Irmadibidu Abbag Daraga Sri Veerabhadra Saparivara Devasthanam, Hegde outlined the schedule of events. "The dedication of horekanike will take place on April 29th from 5 pm. On April 30th, starting from 8 am, the rituals will include Torana Muhurta, Punyaha Nandi, Arani Mathana, Ganapati Homa, Mrityunjaya Homa, and the re-revealing of Neecha Naga at Dasarabettu, followed by Sapta Shuddhi in the presence of Veerabhadra Swamy from 5 pm onwards. May 1st will see various ceremonies such as Prasada Shuddhi, Rakshogna Homa, Vastu Puja, Vastu Bali, Vastu Homa, Indradi Bali, Kalkuda Bhu Shuddhi Homa in Sannidhya, Vastu Homa, Vastu Bali, Indradi Bali, Navagraha Homa in the presence of Veerabhadra Swami starting from 8 am. Later in the day, there will be Chandika Homa, Bimba Shuddhi Process, Shanti-Prayashchita Homas, Kalash Pratishta Pradhana Homa, and other rituals, followed by the evening Veerabhadra Aghora Homa, 109 Kalashadhivas, Pradhan Homa, Sapta Shuddhi, Vastu Rakshoghana, Indradi Bali, and Bimbadhivas," he elaborated.
Hegde continued, "On May 2nd, the Homa and re-consecration of Naga-Brahma will commence at 10:14 am, followed by Tila Homa, Kushmanda Homa, Supana Kalash to Lord Naga Brahma, Pradhan Homas, Sarpa Prayashchita Rupa Azhlabali, Prasanna Puja, and Vatu Aradhana. The Brahmakumbhabhishek to Lord Veerabhadra will be performed at 12 noon, along with Prasanna Puja."
He further informed, "Food offerings and Bhoga Diparadhana in the presence of Nagadev will take place at 4:30 pm, followed by Nagadarshan service and Kalkuda kola at 9 pm."
The religious meeting scheduled for May 1st at 3 pm will be presided over by Prasanna Hegde, with elders of Irmadi Bedu Family Trust and Nittee Group of Institutions Chancellor N. Vinay Hegde and former Lokayukta N. Santhosh Hegde as chief guests. Chairman of Irmadi Family Temple Management and Welfare Trust. Jayaprasad Shetty will preside over the event.
Notable figures such as former Lokayukta Vishwanath Shetty, businessman Shivaram B Shetty Irmadi Shettibettu, and others will also be present as chief guests.
Vedamurthy Gururaj Bhat Kolalagiri, secretary Suresh B Shetty Shettibettu, treasurer Rakshit Shetty, and Mallikarjuna Shetty were present at the conference.
