Mangaluru, Apr 17: Nitte (Deemed to be University) is a recognised multidisciplinary institution accredited with A+ grade by the National Assessment & Accreditation Council, GoI, and ranked 65th in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2023. Nitte is proud to announce a career-defining opportunity for students aspiring to pursue BTech in computer science & engineering (CSE). Nitte University has partnered with two esteemed institutions, Penn State University, Harrisburg, USA, and University of Wollongong (UOW), Australia to offer international twinning and dual degree programmes, marking a significant milestone in global academic collaboration.

Under the Penn State University (PSU), USA partnership, students can opt for either the Twinning Programme or the Dual Degree Programme. PSU, Harrisburg, a prominent constituent campus of the Pennsylvania State University, is renowned for its academic excellence and research. Ranked 83rd in the QS World University Rankings of 2024, it offers an enriching learning environment for students. The dual degree programme follows a 2+2 model, where students complete the first two years at NMAM Institute of Technology (NMAMIT) and the subsequent two years at PSU, Harrisburg. Upon successful completion, students earn degrees from both universities simultaneously.

The twinning programme operates on a 2+1+1 model, with students spending their third year at PSU, Harrisburg. Upon completion, students receive a BTech in computer science engineering from NMAMIT.

Nitte University in collaboration with the University of Wollongong (UOW), Australia, offers a dual degree programme in computer science engineering. Situated in the picturesque coastal city of Wollongong, UOW is ranked 162nd in the QS world university rankings of 2024, offering students a vibrant academic atmosphere. Similar to the PSU partnership, the dual degree programme with UOW follows a 2+2 model, enabling students to complete their degree requirements at both universities.

Eligibility criteria for the BTech programmes of NMAMIT, Nitte apply to both partnerships. Selection is based on academic merit, and interested candidates can apply through the online portal apply.nitte.edu.in

Selected students must confirm their admission within seven days by paying the prescribed first year fee and submitting the required documents.
