Mangaluru, Mar 12: Sushma V, assistant professor of the MBA Department at Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management, Mangaluru, has been conferred with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Management by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi.

Her dissertation titled ‘Skill Assessment for Management Students to Enhance their Employability, a Comparative Study’ garnered recognition from the university for its academic merit and relevance in the field.

Under the mentorship of Dr Vishal Samartha, professor & director-MBA programme at Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management, Mangaluru, Sushma V undertook extensive research contributing to the enhancement of management education.

Sushma V is a Certified Master Skills Trainer by BOSCH and Skill India, Government of India, and is also the founder of Sahyadri HR Solutions LLP. Her dedication to academia and commitment to skill development have been lauded by both students and colleagues alike.

Adding to her accomplishments, Sushma V is the wife of Kannan Nair, Business Development Manager at ACE Promoters & Developers, Mangaluru. She attributes her success to the unwavering support of her family, including her parents, V Suresh Kumar and Mitha.
