Udupi: Good Samaritan rescues starving stranger in Kukkikatte

Udupi, Dec 3: Social worker Nityananda Olakadu stepped in to rescue a stranger facing a dire situation, deprived of food.

Reports reveal that an unidentified man had been lying near the playground of Kasturba Nagar in Kukkikatte, Indiranagar, for four days without access to food. Nityananda Olakadu, with the assistance of local residents and civic workers, promptly admitted him to the district hospital at Ajjarakad.

The rescued individual, identifying himself as Dinesh Rao and claiming residence in Bailoor, Karkala, urged his family and relatives to contact the Citizen Help Centre at the district hospital of Ajjarkad.
