Mangaluru, Jun 9: Srinivas University has embarked on a new initiative to provide high-quality computer-based training in learning. In line with its commitment to value-based education, the university has entered into a partnership with IBM India Pvt Ltd to impart knowledge to students through multinational corporations. This was announced by the chancellor of Srinivas University, Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao.
The MOU signing ceremony between Srinivas University and IBM India Private Limited took place at Srinivas Hotel on Friday, June 9. Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao expressed his delight at the new collaboration and its innovative ideas.
Dr A Srinivas Rao, the Honourable Pro-Chancellor of Srinivas University, highlighted the importance of building new partnerships to foster impactful learning. He emphasized that these partnerships will contribute to better student education.
Jagdish Bhatt, country manager for Software Services at IBM India Pvt Ltd, who graced the occasion as the chief guest, emphasized the significance of competence in students and stated that IBM aims to develop this quality in them.
Madhusudhan, regional manager of IBM India Pvt Ltd, expressed his pleasure at the agreement with Srinivas University, which will facilitate a special program to enhance students' technological skills.
The event was attended by Dr Srinivasa Maya D, evaluation registrar of Srinivas University. Dr Anil Kumar, registrar, welcomed the gathering, and Dr Ajay Kumar, development registrar, proposed a vote of thanks.
